Visa for the Year 2018 : 35 Euros for a stay of 1 to 30 days – 40 Euros for a stay of 31 to 60 days – 55 Euros for a stay of 60 to 90 days
Passport : valid for at least 6 months over the expiration date of the visa
Vaccine : no vaccine is demanded to come in Madagascar. yet, it is advised to be up-to-date with in every personal vaccines. Anti malaria prevention is recommended (consult your doctor but avoid simple drugs, very powerful, they have adverse side effects that are not always manageable) For a more thna one month (01) It is obligatory to provide an international vaccination certificate, some tests could occur during the stay.
Drinks : tap water and ice are not advised. Bottled water is relatively present in all stopping-off place.
Accommodation : Hotels classification does not always correspond to the international standards.

Madagascar is still in a low capacity of accommodation, particularly in places that are far from big cities. Comfort really varies from place to place.
However, most of the proposed hotels in your itinerary will be selected tidily in allowing for those following criteria : hygiene, quality of service, comfort and safety.

Best practices of travels

We recommend you to provide :

  • LED Flashlights .
  • Waterproof soft bags rather than hardcases
  • Small extra Backpack for walks and car days.
  • A good repellent against mosquitoes adapted to tropical areas.
  • Your travel first-aid kit (Aspirin, bandages, disinfectant...) and yoursufficiency personal medicine.
  • Suntan cream (high index recommanded)
  • Filtered sunglasses
  • Cap or hat (that You could find on the spot)
  • Walking shoes that you have already used and sandals
  • A good raincoat.
