For nearly three years, videos about Madagascar have been buzzing on the internet and especially on a well-known video platform. Generally, if we talk about the big island, it is about the devastation of nature, the misery, the incessant political crises and, on rare occasions, its beauty.

Yes, Madagascar is full of unknown riches, like those little street singers Rija, Tojo, Tahiry, Thierry, Haitra, Jimmy, Njato and Rivo. They all come from the slums surrounding the island's big capital and almost every day they leave their neighborhood for another more opulent and more comfortable one in order to show off their musical talent.

They are between 12 and 17 years old and come from the most disadvantaged strata of the city of Antananarivo, but that did not prevent them from performing on the most fashionable stages of the big island. They were even invited to the US Embassy.

If poverty prevails in many neighborhoods of the city of miles, wealth is undoubtedly in the hearts of these children who sing of simplicity, kindness and love.

If one day you walk the small streets of the capital of Madagascar in search of wealth, you will surely come across this happy little band, especially if you walk around the Antsahavola district.

Zaza Kanto is the name of their small group of a capella singers. Enjoy a moment of pleasure listening to them.
