THE RETURN OF OUR EFFORTS!!!
We visited the village in December 2016. So much good news!!!
We were welcomed with songs, dances… What happiness… Small tear of personal joy at having been able to contribute to the development of a small remote village…
Our little village Haragnana is elected today “ Pilot Village », thanks to the school built and the development of the village.
We left books there to get the children used to reading, various toys, party decorations, treats, balloons, school supplies.
We contributed to new constructions: huts to accommodate preschool children, new huts which will serve as housing for teachers and an office/library, the WC area will be rebuilt with more reinforcement, etc.
Two manual pumps were built to allow the village to draw water more easily.
Thanks to awareness about cleanliness, many households have built their own toilets, opting for the system they call "Tip Top" which consists of hanging a bottle of living water at each entrance to each home so that each When entering, each person first washes their hands.
A cultivation trial was undertaken, from which we benefited from the first pineapples harvested, very large and very sweet...
Associations and Groups have been created or have come to assist the villagers for the common development of the village and those in the surrounding area....
A big lively party and a big dinner was organized to celebrate the arrival of the New Year with happiness and hope.
The village is developing slowly but surely!!!!
We thank our Donor Friends, we thank the Village President for his involvement
