TOUR MALIN MADAGASCAR places People and the preservation of the Environment at the heart of its activity. Our “SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL ASPECT” supports rural communities through concrete actions in favor of education, local development, food autonomy and the conservation of natural resources.
*** EDUCATION AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT
Since 2012, we have been supporting a village located in the Brickaville region, through the “Sekoly Fanantenana” (School of Hope) project. This program allows each year:
- Financial support for teachers and families;
- The provision of school equipment and supplies;
- The construction and renovation of educational infrastructure;
- The organization of awareness and training workshops;
- The development of educational and community activities for children….
Since 2012, the school has welcomed more than 1,000 students, thus contributing to the sustainable improvement of access to education in an isolated rural area.
*** FOOD AUTONOMY AND LOCAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, with the “CEDAR” project (Training Center for Development and Rural Autonomy)
In 2024, we launched the “Rangy Mifankatia” project, aimed at strengthening the food security and income of rural families.
This program supports farmers through:
- Distribution of seeds and agricultural inputs;
- Training in sustainable agriculture, agroforestry, water management, permaculture, breeding, beekeeping and composting….
- Personalized technical support.
In 2025, more than 130 direct beneficiaries participated in training and support actions, with balanced representation between women and men.
*** ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Our environmental actions aim to preserve natural resources while offering sustainable alternatives to practices that contribute to deforestation.
In particular, we are developing:
- Native and fruit tree nurseries;
- Reforestation programs;
- The promotion of agroforestry;
- Training on environmentally friendly agricultural techniques;
- Alternative solutions to traditional charcoal production.
*** A SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITY SPACE
The “Tranobe” project, currently in development, aims to create an ecological community space dedicated to reception, training and strengthening local capacities. This center will constitute a place for exchange, learning and awareness of social and environmental issues.
*** TOURISM THAT CREATES A POSITIVE IMPACT
Through these initiatives, in collaboration with several rural communities, TOUR MALIN MADAGASCAR demonstrates that responsible tourism can generate sustainable benefits for local communities while contributing to the protection of the environment. Each trip thus contributes to building a more united, inclusive and sustainable future for the beneficiary populations.
