PARTICIPATION OF TOUR MALIN MADAGASCAR IN RESPONSIBLE AND SOLIDARITY TOURISM FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE ENVIRONMENT AND THE MALAGASY POPULATION – IN ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION, AWARENESS AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

The Land of Madagascar is the base and the very essence of the work of all the value chains of Tourism in Madagascar.
Represented as a Jewel of Biodiversity, it contains all the attractive aspects for a favorite island, which can attract people in search of discovery: Human and Cultural wealth, and above all, at the level of its Fauna and Flora, with a rate of extraordinary endemism of 80% of all plant and animal species, its diverse landscapes, its seaside resorts,...
It is to make known its beauty, its wealth, its personality, … that we call on national travelers and those from all over the world to come and discover it.
Tourism in Madagascar is therefore intimately linked to the preservation of this biodiversity of the island.
But today, Madagascar is losing its specificity and its attractiveness because of the degradation of its environment, in particular, by the destruction of sites, of the landscape by bush fires (about 10,000 Ha of forests go up in smoke each year), in particular, for the production of coal which has intensified since the Covid-19 pandemic.
TOUR MALIN MADAGASCAR, being part of the Tourism value chain in the Private Sector, and working in Solidarity and Responsible Tourism, affirms its desire to contribute and support local communities and the preservation of the Environment.

A PROJECT IS UNDERWAY, including:

  • SUPPORT AND ACCOMPANIMENT IN THE CREATION OF NEW ACTIVITIES FOR FOOD SELF-SUFFICIENCY AND SOURCES OF ADDITIONAL INCOME IN ORDER TO REDUCE BUSH FIRES, THE MANUFACTURE OF CHARCOAL (water development – creation of a vegetable garden for the school – planting / reforestation – beekeeping)
  • SUPPORT ON WASTE MANAGEMENT – IMPLEMENTATION OF A VARIED SHOWCASE VEGETABLE GARDENING / FRUIT GROWING FOR LOCAL COMMUNITIES AND A SHOWCASE VEGETABLE GARDEN FOR THE SCHOOL

The project concerns communities in the part of the Eastern Region, in the Pangalanes Region, in the part of the part of Ankanin'ny Nofy, bordering Lake Ampitabe, and Grand Lake Rasoamasay, in the District of Brickaville.
