Departure towards the Highlands with stops in villages and typical rural landscapes. Arrival in Anjazafotsy, within the Loharanosoa community. Warm welcome, preparation of dinner in local cuisine and first immersion in a village lodge.

Full day of immersion: participation in agricultural activities, breeding, daily tasks and moments of conviviality with the inhabitants. Traditional games and cultural exchanges punctuate the day. An authentic experience as close as possible to Malagasy peasant life.

Road to Sandrandahy, a village engaged in community tourism. Installation in the lodge and start of the immersion in the afternoon through the first meetings and local discoveries.

Day dedicated to sharing everyday life: agriculture, crafts, local traditions and exchanges with the village association. Here, tourism becomes a direct lever for local development.

On the way south, stop at a lively weekly market to discover the local economy and local products. Arrival in Fianarantsoa and installation in community accommodation.

Immersion in Betsileo country, a people known for their impressive rice terraces and their agricultural know-how. At the end of the day, stroll through the historic streets of the Upper Town, the cultural and spiritual heart of the region.

Cultural in-depth day: social organization, family traditions, importance of ancestors and central role of rice in Betsileo culture. Enriching meetings and exchanges.

Road to Iarintsena, a village located between the Betsileo and Bara territories. Sharing daily life with a community of semi-nomadic origins, strongly focused on cattle breeding. Continue to Ambalavao for the night.

Crossing to Bara territory, a pastoral people proud of their traditions linked to the zebu. The landscapes become more arid and spectacular.
