Departure from the capital. A few stops along the way for visits to traditional villages and local artisans. Connection to Antsirabe, located about 170km from Antananarivo on the National 7. Arrival in the middle of the day and visit of the city on foot.
Antsirabe, "ville thermale" est une petite ville sympathique des hautes terres, située à 1 500m d’altitude dans une cuvette entourée de massif volcanique. C’est le chef-lieu de la région Vakinankaratra.

Ifasina is a small village in the Highlands of the Fianarantsoa region, whose population is part of the Zafimaniry ethnic group. The place is famous for its woodworking and craftsmanship, the quality of the workmanship of which is found on the doors and shutters of the houses. This know-how has been classified as Intangible Cultural Heritage by Unesco. An essential place for a stage that is both cultural and sporting. Often entirely and superbly carved. The art of carved wood is an atypical architectural style of the habitats of these villagers.
Departure after breakfast and off the track. Resumption of national 07 and continuation to Ranomafana. Still on the highlands, we descend a little towards the eastern slope. Ranomafana Park, made up of humid forests, is protected and listed as a World Heritage Site in the Atsinanana.
