Départ de la capitale. Quelques arrêts en cours de route pour des visites de villages traditionnels et d’artisans locaux. Liaison jusqu’à Antsirabe, situé à environ 170km d’Antananarivo sur la Nationale 7. Arrivée en milieu de journée et visite de la ville à pied de la ville. Antsirabe, "ville thermale" est une petite ville sympathique des hautes terres, située à 1 500m d’altitude dans une cuvette entourée de massif volcanique. C’est le chef-lieu de la région Vakinankaratra.

Exit Ihasy and link to Ambositra. Passage through the landscapes of eucalyptus forest and the panorama of the highlands. Arrival on Ambositra and visit of artisanal sculpture workshop. Continuation to Ambaladingana and Installation in a bush lodge.
Departure by car to Faliarivo. Start of the discovery of the Zafimaniry region. Walk to the village and visit this beautiful village in the central highlands. Immersion and meeting with the local population. Continue to Ifasina. Ifasina is a small village in the High Plateaux of the Fianarantsoa region, whose population is part of the Zafimaniry ethnic group. The place is famous for its woodworking and craftsmanship, the quality of which can be seen on the doors and shutters of the houses. This know-how has been classified as Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO. An unmissable place for a stopover that is both cultural and sporting. Often fully and superbly carved. The art of carved wood is an architectural style atypical of the habitats of these villagers.
Departure after breakfast and exit from the track. Resumption of national road 07 and continuation towards Ranomafana. Still on the highlands, we descend a little towards the eastern slope. Visit the village of Ambatovaky and its traditional blacksmiths. Arrival at the end of the day at Ranomafana. Installation in hotel. Ranomafana Park, made up of humid forests, is protected and classified as a world heritage site in Atsinanana. A large forest in a hilly landscape covering an area of 41,000 hectares, the park is surrounded by mountain ranges. It is rich in numerous birds, butterflies, bats, lemurs, medicinal plants, a wide variety of orchids and carnivorous plants....
Half day tour through the Eastern Rainforest. Discovery of the wild life in the company of your local guide and departure from the park in the middle of the day. Continuation towards the heights to Fianarantsoa. Visit of the old town and its charming little streets in the company of small local guides.
A day of immersion in Betsileo culture and daily life. Meeting and sharing with the local population. Discovery of rice growing, step by step, on a pleasant and varied circuit with a breathtaking view of the valley, river, forests, fields, and traditional villages…. Meeting of the Betsiléo villages and its welcoming inhabitants with a generous smile.
Day of connection to Ranohira. Passage through Ambalavao and visit the zebu market and its open-air market (Wednesday/Thursday). Discovery of the Anjà community reserve and its lemurs. Continuation to Ranohira after passing through the Ihorombe plateau. Arrival at the end of the day, check-in at the hotel. The Anja community reserve is a small protected area in Madagascar, created by a village community which manages it entirely. It is focused on nature conservation, tourism and the economic development of the locality. It covers 30 hectares and is located 13 km south of Ambalavao, along the RN7.
Day of discovery of the national park of Isalo. Valleys, canyons, waterfalls, ridges, plateau and other reliefs make it up. A mountain range mainly composed of sandstone. The colors are wonderful. Out in the middle of the afternoon.
Depart after breakfast and visit the sapphire mines of Ilakaka. Continuation to Toliara and lunch. Resumption of the road in the afternoon to reach Ifaty in the north. Visit of the small tourist village and the structures of the solidarity hotel. Meeting with the young people of the association.
