Our solidarity projects continue!
At the beginning of July 2015, a team from Tour Malin Madagascar went to Aragnana to see the evolution of the school that we built with the help of precious local and foreign friends, and to give the villagers and children several bags of rice, bags of seeds, cans of cooking oil, bags of sugar, boxes of pasta, boxes of biscuits, and school supplies for the year 2015 – 2016.
2 boxes of medicines of 1is care were also handed over to the village President.
The school now welcomes more than 80 students from the 6 surrounding villages and sub-villages. 2 rooms simultaneously accommodate CP1 – CP2 – CE – CM1 – CM2, of which 2 teachers provide education.
A necessary budget has also been deposited with the School Director (Ms. Delicia) to ensure the purchase of various supplies necessary for the new school year (rulers, square, compasses, protractor, chalk, etc.). As well as a budget which will be used to ensure the travel of students and teachers during exam periods, knowing that they travel between 15 and 45km on foot to reach the exam location.
The school is now registered with the state.
The consequences of the project will be:
- To build a room near the school which will serve as an office and place for filing documents
- Research and purchase of school books necessary for students and teachers and sending.
- Collection of reading books (French and Malagasy) to build a school library
