Adventure Africa: Why Madagascar ?
Madagascar, already the sound of this name promises unique experiences in an unknown and exotic world. What could be more natural than meeting it with your camera? Discover with us a fascinating animal world, breathtaking landscapes and colorful culture, which there is nowhere else in the world a second time.
A photo trip to Madagascar is a dream, the fulfillment of which with the right partners at your side should not be an obstacle. The combination makes the difference: on-site experts with many years of individual travel experience, who attach great importance to comfort and safety, and experienced nature photographers and biologists as workshop leaders, who already had a wide variety of motifs from all over the world in front of their lens and are happy to pass on their skills and knowledge. Throughout the journey we will work with you to find professional ways to achieve the best possible image through theoretical and practical workshops as well as numerous photography discussions. The two professional photo mentors will illustrate different approaches and, in small groups, the techniques and working methods can be varied and analyzed in detail. Being able to immerse yourself in the working methods of two different photographers during a photo trip is unique for Madagascar and offers you perfect opportunities.
Benefit from our experience as biologists in managing the unique animal world of Madagascar. We show you interesting lifestyles and behaviors of animal species and make it possible to capture them naturally with the necessary sensitivity in a photo. Whether lemurs, reptiles or insects, the path to a perfect image often involves understanding the species itself. So we have more time to worry about the details and intricacies of wildlife photography. Whether tele- or macrophotography, we dedicate ourselves to it in detail within the framework of several practical and theoretical workshops.
The landscapes they inhabit are as diverse as the fauna of Madagascar. We will take you to some of the most spectacular areas of the island, where we will explore different aspects of landscape photography together. As an absolute highlight, we are the only explicit photography tour provider to visit the remote Andringitra massif with its perfect conditions for landscape and astrophotography. The nights under the Milky Way in this grandiose landscape are unique. As a wonderful antithesis to this, we will also be photographing the beaches of the east coast. In addition to long-term exposures, filter photography and astrophotography, we will not neglect their processing. But don't worry, we won't spend hours on the PC, we both follow the approach to make the image as optimal as possible when taking the photo. However, smaller settings are essential in digital photography and we will show you how to get the most out of your photos using effective and useful methods.
In addition to the disciplines of natural landscape photography, wildlife photography and macro photography, we will also have the opportunity to implement aspects of travel photography as they relate to people and culture. The native speakers of Madagascar who accompany us on our trip will allow us to have a fun insight into the life and culture of the local population and the different tribes of Madagascar. Live with us the experience of a fantastic country, whose rich nature and friendly people exist nowhere else in the world. Are you ready for a big trip for you and your camera? We look forward to your visit!
