Madagascar is a magical island, beautiful and rich in smiles and encounters.
Discovering Madagascar is: experiencing the country, meeting the population, creating a relationship, sharing, eating the succulent dishes prepared over a coal fire and “fatapera”, experiencing the atmosphere, discovering its human wealth and at the same time, its exceptional Fauna and Flora. See the markets with their mixed colors, taste a fruit sold on the corner of a route…Quitter the main roads to reach the slopes, search and find the smallest nooks and crannies to admire the changing landscape, marvelous, calm and far from civilization. Take your hand to say hello, offer a smile and receive a lot in return... But also, relax in a place with a breathtaking view of the ocean, bordered by white sand, coconut trees... Or go and meet its animal species which are the pride of the island, admire the green of the tropical forests or the yellow of the steppes, the red of the lateritic earth, admire the valleys, the falls and streams, the mountains...
As Michel DEON says so well: “To really love a country you have to eat it, drink it and hear it sing.”
This is how the programs are created “Highland Cultural Tourism” which will take you “to eat, drink and hear the country sing”, which will take you deep into the life of a Malagasy, to know its History, its Culture, its Customs, its Art, its joy of living…
These circuits were developed by Hanitra Rasoanaivo, our Commander of the Malagasy Order of Arts, Letters and Culture.
Artist, singer, actress, … and working in various activities, but above all passionate about her native island, Hanitra has developed these unique travel circuits in Madagascar including cultural activities and original aspects of her country of origin. At the same time, it offers a different way of visiting the Highlands of Madagascar ecologically and culturally.
Come share and learn a little more about our daily lives.
