“Since April 2013, the LA SALLE school group has been one of our partners for the support and realization of our social projects.
The LA SALLE school group is a group of two Catholic establishments open to all, respecting each person's beliefs.
SAINTE ANNE SCHOOL welcomes children from the Very Small Section to CM2, COLLEGE SAINT JOSEPH from 6th to 3rd grade.
Several activities are organized at the level of these establishments to obtain an amount which will be used to help finance these projects:
– Organization of solidarity meals;
– Sale of sweets at Wednesday recess;
– Sale of bracelets, paper flowers, … made by middle school students;
– Stand “Mada” during the fair to raise awareness among children and parents about the reasons for the actions taken
Ms. PERCEAU Sylvie, one of the college teachers, came in April 2013 to hand-deliver to us the amount received from these activities.
With the amount received thanks to students, parents, teachers, management… of this school group:
• 5 out of 15 children are sponsored in terms of school fees in the village of Tambohovory, Fianarantsoa region
• A school was built in Aragnana, a village in the Pangalanes, in the East, named by the children of the village “Fanantenana” or “Hope”. Today it welcomes around 90 children of different levels.
• A toilet area and an office space are built. Later, the office space will also be used as a library area.
• Several school supplies and furniture are provided to the Fanantenana school and to the children
• First aid medications are left with the village chief
The continuation of the project remains in progress.
Today we stay in touch.
We thank from the bottom of our hearts Ms. PERCEAU who believed in us and trusted in our projects, and who offered a lot of her time, her love and her dedication in order to develop this “Aide Madagascar” project.
We also thank the Director, teachers, children and parents for their valuable participation in these projects.”
