In terms of nature and culture, Madagascar has something to satisfy the curiosity of the most adventurous travelers. Bathing off the African coast for several million years, this island has generated its own nature in its own evolution, far from all predation. Currently, it has one of the highest endemicity rates in the world with nearly 65%, meaning that nearly 3 out of four species are only visible on the island.
Unfortunately, this nature is weakened by many parameters. Man is at the forefront of his perdition. Within a few decades, scientists estimate that almost half of the island's fauna and flora species will disappear irretrievably if we refer to current figures.
It is high time to act in the right direction for the preservation of other species as well as our own. Let us act for all more responsible and more sustainable approaches. In Madagascar, there already exist entities that work with respect for the social, human and natural environment. It is not necessary to join to follow this perspective of environmental protection and responsibility, we can just readjust our daily actions and procedures.
Let's act for a better future.
