Personalized welcome at the airport by your guide then transfer to your hotel. First immersion in the atmosphere of the Malagasy capital. Installation, rest and briefing on the responsible trip that awaits you.
Discovery of the capital and its rich historical heritage: Upper Town, Queen's Palace and traditional markets. Meeting with local artisans and introduction to the daily life of the inhabitants. A cultural day to understand Malagasy history and identity.
Road towards the East through the green landscapes of the region. Stop at the Peyrieras farm to discover reptiles, chameleons and endemic insects. In the afternoon, visit the Vakôna reserve to observe lemurs and local biodiversity.
Morning exploration of the Analamazaotra reserve, famous for the Indri-Indri, the largest lemur in Madagascar. Guided walk in the primary forest to discover endemic fauna and flora. In the evening, night outing to observe species active at night.
Long day's drive through the Central Highlands and their landscapes of rice terraces. Crossing agricultural villages where rural life follows an ancestral rhythm. Arrival in Antsirabe, a spa town renowned for its crafts.
Discovery of Antsirabe by rickshaw and visit to local artisan workshops. Excursion to the sacred lake Tritriva surrounded by Malagasy legends. Walk in the rice fields of Betafo to meet rural communities and understand traditional agriculture.
Road to Ambositra, capital of Zafimaniry wood sculpture, with visit to artisan workshops. Continue to the Ranomafana tropical forest. In the evening, night walk to observe nocturnal species.
Morning hike in Ranomafana Park to discover lemurs, birds and medicinal plants. Local lunch then drive to Fianarantsoa. Visit the old town and its traditional architecture.
Stop at Ambalavao to discover the artisanal manufacturing of Antemoro paper and wild silk. Visit to the Anjà community reserve, managed by villagers to protect lemurs and their culture. Continuation towards Ranohira, at the gates of the Isalo park.
Hike approximately 11 km through spectacular landscapes of canyons, natural pools and rock formations. Observation of lemurs and discovery of flora adapted to the dry climate. Picnic in the park and return mid-afternoon to rest.
Road towards the south passing through Ilakaka, an emblematic village of sapphire mines. Discovery of this unique region then arrival in Toliara for lunch. Continuation to Ifaty and installation by the sea.
Visit the Reniala baobab forest and discover its exceptional biodiversity. Meeting with the Vezo communities and introduction to traditional canoeing. An immersion in the maritime culture of southwest Madagascar.
Relaxing day at the edge of the turquoise lagoon of Ifaty. Possibility of swimming, snorkeling or meeting with Vezo fishermen. A moment of rest in a preserved natural environment.
