Welcome at the airport by your guide then transfer to your hotel. Installation and rest time after your international flight. First discovery of the atmosphere of the Malagasy capital.
Visit to Antananarivo and its historic districts: Upper Town, traditional markets and artisan workshops. An immersion in the history and culture of the Highlands. Discovery of the daily life of the inhabitants.
Flight to Diego Suarez (Antsiranana), a tropical city with colonial charm. Excursion to the famous three bays with picnic at Sakalava Bay. Visit the historical remains and discover the lively atmosphere of the city in the evening.
Day dedicated to the discovery of Antakarana culture and its traditions. Meeting with local communities and discovery of their historical and spiritual heritage. Return to Diego Suarez at the end of the day.
Road to the Montagne d’Ambre park, a tropical forest rich in waterfalls and biodiversity. Guided hike to discover lemurs, chameleons and endemic birds. Night in a lodge in the heart of nature.
Drive south with a stop at the spectacular Red Tsingy , natural formations sculpted by erosion. Lunch on the road then continuation towards the Ankarana massif. Installation in a lodge at the gates of the reserve.
Exploration of the Ankarana Park and its unique karst landscapes. Discovery of caves, canyons and Tsingy, as well as lemurs and bats that inhabit the region. Hike in the heart of this exceptional ecosystem.
Road to Ambanja through the landscapes of the northwest. Visit to tropical spice plantations: cocoa, ylang-ylang, coffee and pepper. Immersive night at a homestay in the village of Ambalahonko.
Two days of sharing with the local community. Discovery of mangroves, traditional fishing techniques and agricultural activities. An authentic immersion in the daily life and culture of northern Madagascar.
Transfer to the port of Ankify then boat crossing to Nosy Be. Excursion to Nosy Komba and the Nosy Tanikely marine reserve for snorkeling and relaxation. Return to Nosy Be at the end of the day.
